Dr. Charmi Patel is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals and families. With several years of clinical experience, she offers a wide range of primary and preventive healthcare services, including management of chronic conditions, acute sick visits, and routine vaccinations.
Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas in St. Kitts and Nevis, where she built a strong foundation in community-focused care. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at UHS Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, New York, receiving comprehensive training across all stages of life.
Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, helping patients make informed lifestyle choices, and promoting wellness to prevent disease whenever possible. Dr. Patel believes that building trusting long-term relationships with patients is the key to effective healthcare.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Association of American Medical Colleges. In addition to English, she is fluent in Gujarati and Hindi, allowing her to connect with a broad and diverse patient population.
